AI product manager · San Francisco

Lexie Polevoi

I build AI that kids can learn from and that teachers, parents and districts can trust. At Kiddom, I founded the Growth team, grew it 4x, and shipped 8 AI features to 1M+ students. Before that, Illustrative Mathematics and Salesforce.

How I Build

Start with users, prove it, then grow it

01

Start with the people who use it

Discovery comes before a spec, even when it moves a launch date.

02

Ground it in what's real

AI draws on trusted sources, with guardrails and privacy designed in from day one.

03

Prove it before it scales

Evals set the quality bar. Staged rollouts prove it with real users.

04

Then grow it

Fix discovery, onboarding and retention so people find the value.

See my release framework

Every AI feature passes the same gates, and each new use case starts again at the eval. At Kiddom, that means each new grade or subject.

About

Product leader, engineer, teacher

I'm a Bay Area native who has always cared about where technology meets education. I trained as an engineer at UC Berkeley, built enterprise AI at Salesforce, and now build AI that helps students learn and makes teachers' days easier. I'm passionate about empowering the next generation of female builders, and I teach girls technology and entrepreneurship so more of them see themselves as engineers and founders.

  • STEMinism · Berkeley honors thesis on how girls' confidence in their own STEM abilities shapes whether they pursue STEM, advised by David Card
  • Hamlin Board of Trustees · technology and AI policy
